Cael's 8 months old!

Happy 8 month Birthday Bubs!! Born September 23rd at 1:37pm, our little boy is 8 months old today!! Where has the time gone?? I hate that time goes so fast, it really doesn't seem like he should be that old, but you look at him and he looks almost a year!! Cael is doing great. He is crawling all over the place and he has figured out how to get up the steps so now they are all blocked off. He doesn't play with toys as much as he used to, he is too busy pulling himself up on the furniture and walking along it. It won't be long and he will be walking!! The downside to all the crawling, he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, just refer back to my earlier blog about him eating June Bugs. Yes, everything and he just pockets it in his cheek like a chipmunk! Here is a list of 10 great things about Cael:

1. Goes by Bubs. Not sure how he got the nickname, but it seems to be sticking. Bubs or Bubsy.

2. Loves his binkie, especially when going to bed. He steals Skylars' whenever he gets the chance, then all we hear is "No Bubs, my biss".

3. Has the greatest belly laugh!!! Nothing beats it. He is really ticklish on his legs and ribs.

4. Loves splashing in the bathtub, makes him giggle.

5. He thinks Jaden is hilarious, she can really make him laugh the most.

6. He weighs at least 20 pounds by now and is bigger now than the girls were at 1 year.

7. He is a great sleeper. Goes to bed around 8, wakes up for a little snack around 11, then sleeps until 7:30 the next morning. YEAH!!

8. He is the happiest baby EVER! (until he falls over from pulling himself up on something)

9. Likes to play patty-cake and to be sung to.

10. Has the prettiest blue eyes, I really hope they stay that way. (he will win over all the ladies with them someday).

I could go on and on about my wonderful baby boy, but I will stop at 10. Love you Bubs and I can't imagine our family without you. Just 4 months left to plan a 1 year birthday party!
