Wet and Wild July!

July Recap.

Tad and I coached Jadens t-ball team to a 3rd place finish. As t-ball is not one of Jadens' most favorite things to do, she was a great sport the entire time and had fun hanging out with her friends and was always positive and cheering her team on. I was very proud of her.

We spent a lot of time on the river with great friends the Watermans and the Blanchards. Even though the river was getting lower as the month went on, the kids had a great time canoeing and just spending the day on the river.  It was plenty hot all month to do it!

We went to the Manchester pool a lot to stay cool. This is the kids favorite pool to go to as they are a bit more lenient and the girls are able to go off the boards there. The kids love to swim and spend at the pool!!

Had to take Mickey to the river as she loves it also. We couldn't keep her out of it and even though she is almost 12, at the river she still acts like a pup. She did pay for it as she could barely walk for the next 2 days, but I know it was totally worth every minute of it.
Burying each other in the sand on the sandbar.

Enjoyed a day at Lost Island waterpark in Waterloo and my niece Bailey got to come along with us. She is such a joy to have around and makes my kids laugh. THe waterpark was awesome and not enough time for us to ride all the fun waterslides.
Our friends taught my kids how to fish. As you may or may not know, we love being outside, but are not really outdoorsy in the sense of we don't fish or hunt. But we love to be out and love to camp. The kids got to go fishing at a friends pond and got to catch lots of fish.

Cael and Skylar ran the Pickle Days 1 mile run and did a great job. I was very proud of them as they crossed the finish line with smiles on their faces.
