We are soooo excited to finally have some snow!! January 12Th, we finally got some snow. We could finally use the new snow boots and snow pants that have been in the bottom of the closet (the ones that Mom here insisted we had to buy right after Thanksgiving because she was so sure we were getting snow the 1st of December).
The kids have been having a blast in it!! Now they will play outside again. They have built forts and snowmen and have been sledding down our ditch (not very big, but they enjoy it) and went sledding this weekend on a much bigger hill.
We live in Iowa, we are meant to have snow on the ground in the winter. I am not a big fan of winter, but if it must be cold, might as well be pretty. This will make the winter go faster and seem short. I am always happy to see spring come, but for now, we are going to
ENJOY THE SNOW!!
