Last weekend, we packed up and headed to Dubuque to Grand Harbor Waterpark. IT WAS A BLAST!!
The kids (and us) had so much fun. They loved going down the slides, they could go down all of the with Tad or I. I love water slides, they are so much fun! Whipping you this way and that! They also enjoyed the lazy river and swimming around in the 'deep water' (3 ft.) area, as well as jumping in from the sides.
We all had so much fun and it felt great to be playing in the water.
One of the best things was wearing flip flops again. I miss them, can't wait until it warms up so we can wear them again. The girls loved dressing like summer-wore skirts, short sleeves, and sandals all weekend. It was great!
The kids love the water. They are such little fishes in it and it doesn't bother any of them to go under and get water on their face.
It really was a fun weekend away, broke up the monotony of winter and this cold weather. And the kids always think it is so much fun to stay in a hotel and not sleep at home;)
Now, just waiting for warm weather so we can go to the outside pools!
