Halloween Fun

It is amazing how fast Halloween time comes around!! Halloween is such a fun time of year for us and there is so many activities going on and so much to do!!

We once again made our annual trip out to Bloomsbury Farm. We have been going out to this same pumpkin farm since Jaden was 1 and the kids have so much fun. However, after being there for just a few hours, I was reminded of how big my kids are getting as they were getting bored and were ready to go. When they were little, we had a hard time dragging them out of there after 5 hours.  Reminds me that time is going to fast.

We also made a trip to the Apple Orchard, but with the late freeze we had last spring, we were unable to pick any apples off the trees. The staff said they had to pick them all off a few days prior as they were afraid of a early fall freeze. However, we came home with 15lbs of apples and some fresh honey from their bees!! Not as fun since we didn't get to get the apples off the trees, but it was a beautiful day to get outside and to the Orchard!

Here they are cleaning out their pumpkins to carve. They are pretty independent with it anymore!

This was the first year they decided to carve out a design in their pumpkin and they did an amazing job!! They did most of the poking of the holes and most of the carving, we helped them with the small parts, but they did a great job!!

Halloween 2012

Once again, the kids did a fun job of picking out fun costumes that fits their personalities.

Jaden was a 80's pop star, which she LOVED the outfit and fits her to a T!!

Skylar wanted to be a cowgirl, she loved the chaps she got to wear and I love her cowgirl boots, she looks adorable in them!

And Cael was Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers!! He is such a B boy and LOVES football and LOVES the Packers!! 

Getting ready to go, it was a bit chilly out, but that didn't stop the kids from going out trick or treating all night!
