Lovin' Summer

This is what I love about summer..... hot sun and water!! We have been hitting the pools as much as possible and the kids are turning into fishes before my eyes! Jaden is able to jump off the diving boards and swim to the edge. Skylar and Cael are not afraid of jumping in and going under at all. Actually, at one pool they were able to go off the diving board with arm floaties on and us in the water to help them (during family time only). They loved it!!! Life doesn't get any better than summer time!!!

What else have we been up to??

4th of July parade- kids love this. Here they are waiting for it to start with their cousin Levi.

Cael was in awe with all the trucks, tractors, backhoes, and fire trucks. That kid really has an engine in his head!! This year they had fighter jets fly over, it was amazing and always gives me goosebumps. The land of the free, time to celebrate our country's birth and to thank all the men and women who continue to fight to this day for our freedom. We really do live in the best country in the world- God Bless the USA!

WE have also seen 3 fireworks shows already, may see 1 or 2 more. I love fireworks and I have passed this on to my children. Ooohing and Aaahing and seeing all the amazing colors, along with all the pop and crackle of the fireworks. Love them!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer, we are trying to squeeze out every ounce of heat and sun that we can!! To me, this is 'the most wonderful time of the year'. Before too long, we will be out going 'back to school' shopping. Sooo not ready for that yet, so we just won't talk about it:) I want summer to last and last and last!

And remember- it you are trying to find us? Look at the nearest pool!
