We took the kids to the Jones County Fair tonight over in Monticello. They had a great time. The main event of the night was a semi/4-wheel drive truck/tractor pull. I think Cael was in 7th heaven, to say he loved it would be putting it mildly. The boy wouldn't take his eyes off everything that was going on: the tractors, the loud trucks, the super modified tractors, and then to top it all of, they were holding helicopter rides and he was watching that. Very excited little boy, he probably peed his pants he was so excited! The girls enjoyed it also, but Jaden couldn't wait to get to the rides and cotton candy.
After watching the races for about 1 1/2 hours, we headed to the rides.

Kids had lots of fun. As for us, we are now broke!! Just kidding, but 3 kids on 3 rides at $3/ride= $27 + cotton candy + funnel cake!!! The fair people totally know how to get ya.
But watching and listening to the kids have the time of their life on simple carnival rides?? PRICELESS!! Just listen when you watch the video of Skylar and Cael in the cars, you can hear Skylar giggling!! She did that the entire time and it just cracked us up!!

I bet Tad had a great time at the races as well. Forkin out some cash for your kids enjoyment is fun.
